The video explainer was produced for the Dafi brand, which manufactures water filters for domestic use. The video explainer was made thanks to the 2d animation technique, which, although we probably know it mainly from cinematography, as it turns out, is also perfect for advertising messages. As a result, it is so often used in the media. The aforementioned animation was produced by the Simple Frame production studio. Animations, promotional and advertising films, as well as multimedia presentations, increase brands' promotional and sales reach thanks to attractive film and animation techniques. As mentioned above, the film is based on 2d animation, a technology that is becoming favoured in relation to more and more areas of our lives. Let us therefore say a little more about it.

2D technology is, in a broader sense, two-dimensional technology. Thanks to today's advanced image or colour display technology, we are able to present almost anything. Thanks to the technology itself, even the most complex configurations can be simply presented. The same applies to the content of the message itself, which is why, thanks to 2D technology, we can present, for example, the way a device is used or the presentation of walls with a possible change of colour. In short, we can present many variations on a single issue.

Why 2D technology in advertising?

2D technology has become so popular in advertising and marketing that it is successfully used by small businesses and large enterprises alike. The dynamics of the image, the vividness of the colour combined with the impact of the sound is a perfect trick to help promote any product. In 2D technology, animation plays a major role; when properly presented, it draws the eye and attracts attention, which, as we know, is crucial in an advertising campaign. Thanks to 2D animation, many companies owe an increase in sales of their product.

2D versus 3D technology

3D technology is also hugely popular. Nevertheless, it is worth looking a little more closely at the differences between the two technologies. First and foremost is the difference in the so-called reproduction of reality. In practice, 3D is used to present a product in an attractive way. 2D technology, on the other hand, is used to present the principles of a product in a transparent manner. Interestingly, it is now becoming increasingly common to combine these two technologies. The objective is, of course, to increase the attractiveness and clarity of the message and thus to increase your chances in the competition.

Is it still possible to surprise with something today?
In the introduction, we told ourselves about the example of Daft Video Explainer, which was produced using 2D technology. Today's advertising really has to be a combination of simplicity, appeal and emotion, where the potential customer simply has to be surprised, which is not such a simple matter today. However, given today's advances in technology, we can be sure that advertising messages may soon start to play a more important role in our lives.
