Promotional films made for technical, engineering or medical companies are governed by certain rules. First of all, they present material that requires specialised knowledge to understand. Moreover, the visual aspect plays a key role in them, as technical projects are difficult to imagine. It is therefore best to choose a type of film production that allows the content to be communicated in a comprehensive but simple way, by supporting it with visual material and a brief description. This is what a multimedia presentation offers.
Simple Frame film studio has made two presentations for Vastint Poland, which can be a good model for other such realisations. Vastint is a property development company operating in Poland since 1992. They have completed office buildings, business parks and hotels and in 2017 they expanded their portfolio with a residential project. Business Garden Warsaw is an office complex designed with tenants and, just as importantly, the environment in mind.
Our task was to show the modern complex, the architecture integrated into the fabric of the city, the pro-environmental approach to the building investment and the technology improving the standard of use of the space. The first animation is based on a very simple computer animation. The 2d animation allowed the project to be presented in a minimalist form. The simple line, the colour scheme limited to white and green only, emphasise the values professed by the company: simplicity, functionalism, care for the environment.
In the second presentation, in addition to a 2D animation, there are photos and films. The project is narrated by a voiceover and descriptions in English appear at the bottom of the screen. The visual material this time focuses more on usability and not, as in the first presentation, on technological aspects.
The presentations for Vastint Poland show how diverse and flexible this method of imaging is. It allows any element of the company's activities to be shown, from a variety of perspectives, but always in a simple form that allows information to be gained.
